And watch out for American Bible Bangers, but DO buy the latest Mana CD and get in the groove.

You do need to be cautious of petty criminals. Don't leave valuables unattended and try to park where you can see you car at all times. I've heard bringing a dog is the best deterent, especially when camping. Lots of great surfing to be had, so just use your common sense.

I went from San Diego to Baja Sur via bus....
Didnt have too many problems...
didnt stop in Tijuana long, that looked the most scary place to me.
Baja for me was really tame, Ive been to Peru and Chile in Latin America and they werent that bad either.
Frankly, what about LA, London, NYC, these can be dangerous places too.....anywhere is dangerous.....
Ive found the worst situations ive been are when I have been out at night and drinking, so you carry the can....

Sack up you PUSSY. Think about it, you only hear the bad stories that are exagerated. And those are sensationalized. Mexico is improving due to Vincente Fox ( the ex president) and they have realized that we bring money to boost the Mexican economy and are now chill. The weed in Mex has even improved.
