I am leaving from Canada on a trip to The Baja (East Cape) and was wpndering if anyone had any information on camping on the cape? Are there fresh water showers at the campgrounds or any cooking facilities at the campground? I can only find a little information in travel books but none of them metion any showers or cooking facilities. Any infromation on the cape would be great. Thanks

Get your hands on West Mexico From Sea To Sierra by Charles Kulander.I'm chuckling here, you said, "The Baja".
Free camping at Punta Lobos, then Playa San Pedrito. Showers available at Playa San Pedro Trailer Park - they also have a pool & restaurant, and that as far as I know is the best place for what you are looking for. Los Cerritos, Punta Gasparino are alternatives. Google in East Cape.
Make the loop and take in Cabo Pulmo, an Underwater Ecological Refuge, you won't regret it.
Also, you might want to go over to BajaNomad, they may have some ideas too. I can't go there, I was banned for campaigning for Kerry. They are pretty much rednecked, but Fly Fishin Pam might be able to help you.
