Where to spend two months surfing in MEX?« on: January 07 2005 14:01:00 »
I'm a kayaker by trade but I thought I might get up on my feet for a while this winter. I'm looking for a place where I can surf and live for up to two months anywhere in Mexico. I am comfortable sleeping anywhere and eating anything, and I would need to but a board to get started. The less money spent the better. I plan to travel Feb and March.

I live in a place called Manzanillo and we have some good surf for bigginers. Sounds like you are one. The waves are around 6-10 feet right now. There are some way bigger places like 1 or 2 hours away. Fun to go camping to. There is a very cheap hotel here called El posada....it isn't by any surf but a 10 or 15 minute local bus ride. Boards can be rented in certain areas.
