trip suggestions for Mexican vacation« on: January 26 2005 17:01:00 »
Does anyone have any suggestions (cities, hotels, resorts) for a fun vacation in Mexico (baja is preferred, but pacific coast mainland Mexico is cool)? We are interested in surfing, fishing, beautiful beaches, fun nightlife, and total relaxation. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

well i live in a manzanillo and it pretty much is described in the description that you gave. It isn't on the baja... but it is a little below Mazatlan. The weather is really nice this time of year.

well... im not sure on what kind of a surf guide you are looking for. But in april may we get some huge waves. If you can i suggest coming in may cuz we are having our surf competition then. But other that that, the waves are mostly around the beaches called olas altas and miramar. There are some in Centro but i haven't gotten around to them. Manzanillo is really laid back with it's surfers. yesterday i hanged out with the 4th best surfer in all of Mexico and he is really cool. Nothing like the pro surfers from home. Just beware of the darn crabs. lol they hurt.
