Suggest Mexican surf town-for family« on: August 13 2007 15:08:00 »
The days of long solo treks are gone. Two kids, wife, and a few boards that get less action in travel bags. Anyway, looking for a town in Mexico to spend the winter with the fam. Walk to surf, food, beach, etc. Any cool towns come to mind?? Never been. Thanks guys!!

Puerto Vallarta is a good option.. nice touristic place to live, and decent waves in the winter, you need a car though.
If you like nice good waves, then you probably want to check Manzanillo, the city is not the best, but i think you can found a nice place to live though, is tourist destination as well, and the best part is that pascuales is only 30 minutes drive and ticla 1:30 hours.. and ticla gets super good in the winter.
