what spots are good near ensenada?  are there any places to rent a board?

Ensenada... There is a spot just north of Ensenada that is really popular but the ex-pat Americans and the locals can be out of control. The crowd gets ridiculous. Pretty gnarly locals, sharp rocks, urchins and heavy waves.
Go north to K-58 and surf super-fun beachbreak at La Fonda. Amazing on a south swell and empty at the south end. The water is usually crystal clear. Watch for stingrays. They are venomous and the pain is amazing.
