My wife and two other couples are going to Cabo in October.  I wanted to know if Alcapulquito was a good spot for learning how to surf. there other stuff for the ladies to do.  Any suggestions welcomed if there is a better place.

check your map mate, acapulco is in the middle of mexico and cabo san lucas is on the southern baja california. "#%"#& MILES AWAY !!!
anyway, if you pick through either central pacific mexico or northern pacific, i.e. baja, then probably waves are better in the baja although more rugged country. Cabo is not a nice town, too yankee all that you can eat kinda vibe but waves around, try your luck.

Acapulquito in Cabo is close to 3 other surf spots...very good for beginners. I have a condo that I rent out there with great views of the spots. see it at or email me w/ questions...have fun!
