I will be travelling to morocco on january 2007, I was wondering if anyone could recomend any cheap stays around surfing spots, what is like an average daily budget when visiting there? thanks,

I am also heading there in early
jan, only doing Agadir, had a friend stay at this place in October he said it was
cheap and safe.

good luck,its costing me £1700 for a week. got a package hol in agadir taking me,wife 4 kids and boards, just gotta get a car when we get there. flying out on 2nd jan 2007

Agadir surf it´s ok but not prices!!!try Essauira.

i went there last feb and it was class,i think you can do it ont he cheap we arrived in agadir with no car or accomodation organised,we got a pretty good deal at the airport for cars for two weeks,we then went to a brilliant surf destination called taghazoute,planty if locals will offer u accomadtion at cheap enough rates, 8 of us were stayin in a spacious apartment by hash point for 5 euro a night each.think bargainin is key and they will try rip you off,we had a couple of muslims who spoke arabic and i think  that helped wiht gettin good preices. still thou its cheap,the weather s great and the waves are unreal and pretty incrowded.food is pretty crap thou!
