Beware of thieves in Taghazout« on: February 02 2018 11:02:00 »
Just came back from the worst surf trip of my life in Morocco.
Laptop and camera stolen out of our apartment, no signs of entry, so staff were involved. On top of that got serious stomach bug from the food or water.
Got 3 good waves during a 1 week stay, the place is over crowded, ozzies, euro's and locals with aggro vibes!
Worst trip ever.
Avoid taghazout (or even better avoid Morocco)

we are sorry to hear about this case but let me assure that Taghazout is the most safest place in Morocco due to the number of tourists coming in so you cannot judge the whole country based on an individual case you should report this to the police who would be very helpful on this... look forward to welcoming you again

The safest place of all of Morocco? That doesn't bode well for the rest of the country then. I heard several people had similar problems when I was there in Taghazoute.
And yes I did report it to the police. Could write a book about that experience....
