How safe is Morroco for tourists

I just got back from Morroco two weeks ago... I always travel alone and this was my second trip... First time around I stayed nearly 4 months... this time due to lack of time only a week... I enjoyed it... I think there is a lot we can learn from their culture... Just need to be patient with the every day continous hagglers and learn how to bargain before you go there... I think is safe... use common sense... take if from a girl who always travels alone... Have fun in Morrco...

Morocco is pretty safe if you stay in the boundaries of crouds, don't frequent dark areas and you won't have a problem. went there last year and it was great.

Safe as houses, but buyer beware, is how id describe it.  Spent two months there surfing.  The hospitality and friendliness of the locals is second to none.  Just need to keep ur wits about you.  Same old scams as anywhere else.  Ildiko is right learn to haggle before you go and remember its all a game to them, you just need to get in on it.
