I m a girl travelling by myself and i was a bit weary of morocco at first. So i booked a surfcamp called smashedtravel, which was awesome. After a few weeks there they showed us all the surf and moroccan customs etc. and me and a girlfriend ventured out on our own to Marrakech, which was all fine. Just don t react when you get hassled by some men, that s all....

Just want to say a quick one, if you pretend to go to a surf camp, go to a one run by locals instead of paying people's holidays in Morocco, cose a lot of them do this surf camp stuff just for 3 or 4 months to afford to stay there for this long period, so how can they show you something they just got to know, and probably by staying with locals, that would be the best way to reward them for there hospitality. i stayed with some locals and spent an amazing holidays, i will not say the name of the company to not dammage there image, as i've seen that many people are trying to advertise on this forum
