how is the localism?« on: August 21 2007 04:08:00 »
I'm going down to Morocco this winter, and a friend of told me to not go with a surf camp run by foreigners, as they have been chassed from the line up of anchor point just cose they came with the guide of the surf camp that is not local, would it be better if i go by own and not go to a surf lodge? is there any surf lodge run by locals so i can avoid the hassle since the beguinning? this happened to me last year in the Canary islands, and don't wanna be faced to the same situation in Morocco, any advice would be so helpful

andrew, i went there last year in Feb, and it was a bit crowded in anchor point and Mysteries, you can go with locals i think, they seemed to me friendly and reliable. and it's of course the best way to reward them for there hospitality. And they are very hospital, never seen a fight in the line up in Morocco, but if your friend saw that, so they must be a reason. anyway, there are a lot of spots where u can surf far from the crowd
