I'm not sure i'd recommend morocco for learners or for children. i think if i was leraning again i think i wish someone would have turned me on to gentler waves like those in fuertaventura (east) or southern spain. also in morocco you can get terrible stomach bugs which are terrible for kids though the culture is brilliant and the weather amazing.

Not perfect for learning..? It all depense when you come to visit. For a fact the canary islands have the same swell as Morocco and can certainly as vicious as morocco. I guess your visit to the Canary islands was just in the right time for beginners. We have every year a lot of famliy`s thru out the season and it works perfectly. Morocco is a good destination for beginners and advanced only check the statistics when the best time is to go! :D Get your information at the right camps and this will solve a lot of misunderstandings.
If you have any more questions our website provides a lot of info about how to travel morocco with bus schedule time and swell charts/ forecast.
look up dfrost surf camps and you will find all the info you will need there.
