anyone surfed Tofo beach breaks and Tofinho point ? I need advice on surfing the point, paddle in, drop in, danges of the reefy ledge, etc.... I am not a experienced surfer and want to see if this is a crazy idea or i f icould surf it under a mellow april/may swell. Information about the beach breaks and overall surfing around Inhambane region would be highly appreciated.
anyone missioning up there in early may?
O brigado, gracias and thanks to all.

I hope you've all had epic waves and moved on to you next destination by mid July, small group of us are going to Tofinho. We had epic waves there 8 years ago at similar time so hope to get some more. Such a user friendly wave that anyone can surf plus a number of other mellow and more hectic breaks all in very close proximity. What a country for surf!!!!!!!

I'm living and working out of tanzania for the next couple of years, i've just emigrated from the UK . I'm sat at work raging that i havent surfed in a month now and was thinking about making a trip down to mozambique to surf sometime between now and xmas (i can take long breaks from work whenever i want so i'm pretty flexible) and then maybe more trips again through next year? only problem is i have absolutely no knowledge of the area and was kind of looking to see if theres anyone heading out that i could hook up with. give me a shout on email@example.com if your intereted.
