Best way to find surf in NZ« on: May 09 2014 20:05:00 »
I am planning a trip around NZ later this year and would like some advice on how to find waves. So far im using the free iPhone app Sherpa surf guide. Is this a reputable app? looks good to me but hard to tell from overseas. And what about surf websites for local conditions? im using surf.co.nz but im not sure if its the best one.
any help would be great

Drive to the beach!
Do you mean like places to check out, or places to stay?
The whole countries built up of coastline, your never really that far from good surf.
I've found www.surf2surf.com better, for what ever reason the surf.co.nz has been having some issues...
Hope it helps!
