Anyone willing to discuss surfing options near Hamilton?

« on: April 01 2008 09:04:00 »

I will be moving to Hamilton this summer and I am curious if any of you out there live and surf nearby. I know Raglan is great, but I need some information on other areas to surf. I am not familiar with the area and some pointers on where to get good surf at certain times of the year would be helpful. Would anyone like to exchange some emails? Cheers.

Yup, try Raglan... can't go wrong.
About 45 minutes away on the west coast... really can;t go wrong.

Failing that the clostest spot on the east coast would be the Mount, keep heading past Tauranga.

Weekend missions head down to Taranaki (west coast) or head to the Corromandel on the east coast
