i lived there for almost 2 years and best in summer would be kaanapali point on the west side -lots of tourists but summer is flat almost everywhere else. if u r lucky and get a small northswell try slaughterhouse beach and flemings up north (also westside). shorebreak and less crowded. If u get south swell then head down to olowalu. but lots of kids and locals so dont drop in -ever-. If u should be on the kahului side try out baldwin beach park its fun. enjoy

Hey i live here bra....i live on da westside....da best spotz for summer time would probably up south for south swell which we will be gettin for da summer..You should hed up 2 either big beach which is a little past wailea....or olowalu....if ur looking for skimming go up to k.p. (kaanapli point) k.p. or whalers also gets good shorebreak when its big....but if u coming here 4 da summer head up to d.t. fleming or honolua bay....Shootz
