aukland or dunedin?

« on: September 20 2009 14:09:00 »

Hi, I'm going to study in NZ for the second semester of 2010, that means I will live there from July to December or January. I can choose between Aukland and Dunedin. I am searching a place that is close to some surf spots, which I can easyly reach by bus or so. Preferably uncrowded spots, intermediate level. Which city would you advice me?
I believe it is cold in Dunedin, what kind of wetsuit do I need to surf there?
Maybe you know some useful homepages about surfing in NZ.

thanks for your help
