Buying/Renting Boards in Nicaragua« on: November 13 2005 01:11:00 »
I'm going to the Peace corps in Nicaragua the next two years. I will be in Managua the first three months but I don't know yet where I will be after that. I really want to bring my board, but I don't think I will at first because I want to be as low-profile as I can be. Can you tell me if there are decent boards to rent at all, or where can I buy one?
thanks for your help.

You can rent a Board in San Juan Del Sur, or playa Maderas 45 mins. north of SJDS. If you wish to buy a used board talk to local that live North of SJDS since they are more humble and honest. Go to Tola Rivas and drive to Limon 1 and 2 you'll find plenty of young locals that can help.
I was born in Nica live in L.A. now But I go back at least every 6 months. keep in touch maybe we can meet up when i go back....
