All inclusive surf camp package vs arranging own lodging/transport/food« on: February 21 2015 11:02:00 »
My 18 y/o son and I are heading to Nica for 2 weeks this summer. Before kids I did lots of surf travel to mainland mex, CR and PR. Never stayed in any "camp". It certainly would seem a lot cheaper to rent my own 4x4 and then wait until we are there to arrange lodging, etc. I am unsure if that is a viable option. Looking to spend time around Miramar and then Rivas. If we nix the surf camp route what are some recommendations for lodging?

En Miramar "Miramar surfcamp" run by the "nicaragua surf tour surfers".
In Popoyo JJ's 1st surcamp in the country ever.
Whoever you choose ask what emergency plan they have in place in case of an emergency e.g. surf related accidents.
