Land at Maderas Beach« on: May 03 2007 13:05:00 »
Hey I just bought 5 acres over by Maderas Beach. As all the locals know, there isn't much out there and it is a pain to dirve all the back to San Juan Del Sur for goods. Anyone interested in buying or leasing the land for a surfshop, market, restaurant, pub, etc?
It is right off the main road about 3-5 minutes from Maderas beach, great spot and inexpensive since it's over the hill.
Will also be selling lots near the river in .5-1 acres if anyone is interested.

The surf really good. The nice thing about Maderas beach is its only 10-15minutes out of town, and from what I hear, is the only accessible beach that gets all the swell directions. When I was there, it was flat and we drove everywhere looking for surf. Maderas was the only beah getting anything to surf. The winds are blowing offshore 24 X 7 which makes for some great barrels. I've seen pics of Maderas with some solid swell and there are plenty of barrels to be had. Its the most popular surf beach so there are some crowds, but the locals are super nice and the rest are beginners. I'm sure with some size, the beginners thins out. Still a lot better than anywhere I surfed in Costa Rica email me at hb_29surf

Could you send more details about this land? The location (relative to the break at Maderas) and the prices?
