A week in Nica« on: December 08 2008 12:12:00 »
Hey, I am planning to come to Nica sometime in 09, probably between June-August. I am just starting to do some research, so any info that you may deem importnat/interesting to know, please post to this topic... However in terms of specific questions... I was wondering whats the best thing to do for accomodation. Im not really trying to do the "surf camp" thing. I was wondering what kind of "hole in the wall" type accom that exists there. Like can u get bungalows and stuff like that... Or what about camping out? What i would really want to do is rent an old camper van and just stay in that and be mobile. Is this sort of thing available in Nica? Also, whens the best times to go to Nica in terms of swell/wind conditions? any advice helps... cheers, Ed

Sounds like the kind of trip I need. I've only been to Costa Rica, and I'm not that great a surfer but want the experience. Let me know what you find out. I'd want to go for like about a week to ten days. Thanks Good luck.

I am going to nica for a month from May 5th-June 5th. I will be staying right around rancho santana in a casita. I have been to Costa 5x and I am looking for some new terrain ;) Any other info about Nica would be helpful. Hope to see you in the lineup!

Go to Iguana, where Colorados and Panga Drops are, good spots, and quality accomodation close to the surf.
