Rainy Season Begins - How Long will the onshore winds last?

I am taking a trip to Nicaragua in the third week of June and am concerne that I will get caught with bad winds while I am out there.  Does anybody have information on how long the period of onshore winds lasts and when the surf starts turning around after the rainys season starts.  From my understanding the rainy season started last week, which means I have about 21 days until the surf turns aroun
