Surf Rentals?

« on: July 09 2009 05:07:00 »

So I am debating whether or not I should bring my own or rent while I'm in Nic. Does anyone know a good place price and quality wise where my buddy and I can rent? Or is it really just worth the 50+ bucks to bring the boards? (we'll be in San Juan del Sur

Plenty of rental options around SJDS.  Airlines are getting out of control.  Continental and Copa are not taking boards during summer months, Delta wants $300, American charges $75-$100 per board regardless of bag.  Also the fees are each way so double whatever they say.  Check with your airline but be warned - what they say on the phone and what they say at the airport are usually not the same story.  Good luck.

You can find rentals. They even will deliver them to you in and around SJDS. If you want a board rental send me a message at http://www.casitasantana.com and I will get you set up. What length and type of board do you want? Long, Fun Board, Thruster, etc?

I pack two boards into my board bag. When the airline check-in person asked me if I have one or two boards, I say one. hehe.
