beginner-intermediate surfing for 2 weeks in Nov. But where? Surfing Nicaragua

Hi all,

I´m looking for a quiet spot with a beach break suitable for a beginner-intermediate for two weeks this November.  I only need basic accommodation as I plan to surf, read, surf some more with the occasional beer here and there.

A spot overlooking a beach would be ideal and board hire too.  Don´t want to travel to get to the waves if possible.

Does anybody know if this fantasy place exists anywhere?  I´d be really grateful for any advice or experience you want to share.

Probably Playa Maderas would be your best bet.  Plenty of lodging options and a wave for all talent levels.  Also close to San Juan Del Sur which offers Bars, Restaurants, Etc.

Been surfin nica for 11 yrs now, from managua. Used to do surf tours a while back... once again i want to provide surf guide service... excelent for people who want to have all the inside info, learn alot on their trip about nica culture, history, gastronomy, and surf. and also feel free to move around from one surf region to the other quikly and efectively, getting in the water the most posible and surfing the best waves acording to the forecasts, tides....  these would be costumed arranged trips, based on your needs, budget etc...

Andy, I have been living in Nica for almost 2 months now.  Maderas is a good playful wave, but the crowd is growing in the south area.  I have seen several different areas from the south to north coast and I would suggest to you Pablo's place at Miramar. I was surfing there with a couple buddies, 1 got dehydrated and couldnt make the walk back to where we were staying & he helped us a ton.  He's an extremely nice guy and should have what you need.  There's a spot just 1 minute down the beach-'the pipes'. that has a fun mellow wave if the swell is not too large. You won't have to go anywhere and the city of Leon is nearby with things to do.  I'd offer you our services but we are just in the beginning stages and don't have boards for guests' use yet.

we are right on the beach, you don´t need a car, we have up to 20 boards to rent , and we have more than 3 beach breaks and some point breaks just walking from here.
