Samana Santa - Does accomodation need to be booked?

« on: February 10 2010 11:02:00 »

I'm coming to Nica with 2 friends to surf and travel from 27 March - 11 April.  I know its Samana Santa then, i was in Panama that time last year, and we struggled to find accomodation.

Will we be able to turn up to SJDS or other places near surf and find a room, or do i need to book somehwere before i arrive?

Also - is it just the Easter weekend thats crowded?

Thanks for any help,  Nick.

I would book ahead of time for that weekend.  The whole country goes to the beach for those few days.   SJDS will be packed that weekend.
Good luck,
Russell

Semana Santa is March 29th - April 4th. This is a very busy time. However, we still have some affordable houses to rent that are currently still available. Check out http://www.popoyo.com for information and photos.
