Surfing Soon in Panama« on: January 26 2006 19:01:00 »
Hi - I'm hopefully headed to Panama in Feb. with a friend and we are fairly newbies. Looking for some cool beg. places to surf and towns to stay in. Any thoughts? From reading the posts it looks like Catalina is a good option, but are the waves too big for beginners? Thanks

Hey, I have a strange situation and I plan on learning to surf , then spending my time between now and July surfing Panama. Basically I'm a guy who never thought about surfing that much, then was given a blank slate to live here until I start med school in August and decided to become a wandering surfer. For anyone out there, I'll have a truck to drive wherever, an iPOD full of good music, and a desire just to kick back and surf, plus a place to crash in the city and friends all over the country. I'm just throwing this out there. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or hit the cell at 6747-1559.
