Boa surfboards is your best bet. The shaper is Juan Jimenez (he speaks fluent English), he makes cusom surfboards, I just got back form Panama and had him shape me a board. It usually takes him a 2 weeks to make a board and prices are very cheap for a custom board. His e mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell him Moody sent you and he will look after you, he's a super nice guy anyway. He is located in Panama City not far from the Multi Centro.

Go to bocas del toro, one hour by plane from panama city, or nine to ten hours by bus. Several beaches not far from one another, beach breaks, reef breaks, all year (atlantic ocean), plus great parties at nigth.
