One month in Panama... where to go/what to do?« on: March 13 2008 20:03:00 »
So my buddy and I are planning on spending a month in Panama and we have some ideas as to what we'd like to do but are also seeking advice. We're going early April-early May and are planning on spending the first week or so in Bocas and then moving on to the northwest coast to the Santa Catalina area. The idea is to make this a surf/backpack trip, we'd try to take buses and take the budget approach to the trip while trying to get to know the country as best as possible. Are there any places that are must surf or see...? Do we need to rent a car? What places are overrated or underrated? Any help or advice would be appreciatted. Thanks.
