South vs north peru« on: June 21 2012 17:06:00 »
I'm thinking of spending a few weeks surfing in peru towards the end of july going into august. i will be travelling into peru from the south and depart form lima. is there a considerable improvement in surf as you go further north? do you think it would be a good idea to go north of peru considering I'm only surfing for about 2 weeks?
thanks a lot

Lima is a good place to start your surf trip in punta hermosa we have several beautiful surf points.. further north the waves are characterized by being long lefts... centinel bermejo north near lima ... then further north about 600 kmts have Chicama and (the longest wave in the world) and Pacasmayo these waves are perfect left and if you have a good level of surfing your fun is guaranteed .... then if you go further north you to wolves that I think is the best place to surf the peru finding there several points for different levels of good food good hostels, friendly people ... peru good surf you have many options
