I am planning a trip this Aug/Sept. to N. Peru around Pacasmayo and Chicama.  How is the surf that time of year?  What kind of wetsuites should i bring and boards?

hey bro!
for the winter you need a full suit 3/2 m.m and a pair of booties, I think you can get cheap boards in Lima instead to bring yours,airlines charge like 80 bucks for this, so then you can sale  your boards in many places. What we don`t have is the very useful head hunter surf screen, if you bring some then you can make samrt bussines here and meet new mates. You gonna get just south swells,cold water and no crowd.
