Trujillo in late August« on: January 23 2005 21:01:00 »
I'll be in Trujillo the last week of August, what's the water temp like at that time of year? Can you rent wet-suits? I've surfed San Diego (Pacific Beach) , Peurto Vallarta and Jamaica, but I'm still a beginner. What's the best spot for me?

The water temp is a medium cold, wetsuit yes, booties?. As far as renting wetsuits I would say dont count on it most people can barely have their own. Your going to a great town and wonderful surf town called Huanchaco. The people are very nice and friendly and warm. This spot is for all levels. Go read the book Stormsurf or go to wannasurf for more info. Have fun and travel light and smart ?
