Good Quiver to bring for Lima and south in March

« on: February 21 2007 23:02:00 »

I'm going to be coming to Peru in March for the entire month.  I am probably going to stay in Punta Hermosa or San Bartolo area and may do a quick trip to the Pacasmayo area depening on what the tour has planned.

What is a good quiver for someone my size?  I am 5'8 150 lbs and have 10 years experience.   I normally surf a 6'0 x 2 1/8 x 18 1/4 for head high and a couple of feet overhead....

I'm thinking that I will surf the medium days (head high to overhead and a half) since I will be there a full month.  The days when the waves are too big I will rest.

What size boards should work?  I was thinking a 6'0 or 6'2 rounded pin for the head and few feet overhead days.

What is the typical size surf for March?
