My wife and I spent a week at Penascal Surf Hotel that is managed by Antonio Tello and he has a great handle on all the local surf spots around San Bertolo. Great food!, Tony is a great host and he can show you all the local breaks.

Hey Joka! How are you? I really think you should cheek they have people teaching all the year around in Lima, the south and the north of Peru. Just be very careful who you take for a surf lesson with.  There are many surf schools that aren’t part of the surf school association of Peru, who is the only place that certified surf coach and surf school. If you need more info write them or if you want write at this e-mail.
Good luck.
