surfboard quiver for may-jun chicama area« on: March 30 2008 13:03:00 »
Hi guys, any advice on what type of quiver should I need to surf chicama, pascamayo, etc. Between may and june. I'll need a gun or semi gun? or a fish for small chicama? other than my regular shortboard?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Bring a Fish, shortboard and semi-gun to this area. Peru goes off with surf so better be safe than sorry. Lots of barrels if it gets big. Good luck and have a good time in Peru.
also check out wannasurf.com for more info and pics?

Hello! I would bring 2 boards at list one smoll for Chicama and a 6'8 for Pacasmayo. Definitely I would try to bring a round pin than a fish.
I also rent boards in case is too difficult or too expensive to bring your boards down here.
Write me for more info to my personal e-mail.

Yes thats exactly what I did last year, a thicker fish board for Chicama, and a 6'10 semi gun for Pacasmayo, and I sure needed the last one.
Pacasmayo has to be one of the best waves I have ever surfed in my life!
if only there was anything else to do in that town besides surfing, damn.... it's boring there, no good food, no good woman, no good party...
