whayo and milton whilar are a couple of the best and most respected long term shapers in peru. 200 bucks roughly for a custom board. swells and focus are good companies too.

I have been using Focus for long time (more than 20+ boards). The answer is definitively a Yes, he is one of the few shapers that understand surfer requirements and conveys that to a very functional board. Focus has been always on top of R&D on materials (epoxy) and designs. For example, lately they have shaped few Kajaks that really work.
