if you are a beginner , go to Makaha beach or Waikiki Beach , very small beaches in Miraflores, Lima. There is a colonial street known as Bajada Balta, take this street al the way to the beach from Miraflores and you will get to Makaha. They have instructors for $20 a day , once you manage to get up and surf you get to keep the board for as long as you want during that day.
If you already know how to get up and surf, they can rent you boards for $15 a day.
