Where to surf on the Philippines in August?« on: June 26 2012 06:06:00 »
We wanna go surfing on the Philippines in august and I am not sure, where to go exactly.
I am intermediate, left-hander, riding a mini longboard and my friend just wants to start learning it.
We would need a surf school around, for the board rental and the 1st surfing lessons for my friend.
Therefore a nice, sweet surf camp would be a great thought.
I picked the spot San Juan, la Union but I just read, there are hardly any waves in august.
Any info or Ideas from your side ???
Thanks a lot and can´t wait for further infos,

I´m also interested in finding out about places! A friend of mine and I are also going in August and we would like to know what the better spots are. Good options seem to be Zambales, close to Manila or Sirao Islan.
We have a couple of weeks and after we´d like to go diving around for another week or so. All help is much appreciated!
By the way, Sabine, when are you going? Maybe we could catch up while were there.

hi sabine... waves are really rare in august... anyway, here in GUBAT, SORSOGON our surf spot offers a lot for beginners. We have spot we called BREEDING - a beach break just right for beginners, as the name itself suggests the breeding area of surfers. We also have a left reef break just good enough for surfers like you.
if you choose to take some chances you can contact me and i can arrange your surf camp accommodation. you can reach me via facebook re: noli john mercader or via email: email@example.com. thanks!
