aloha everyone..i saw a vid on youtube..fun to good waves..it said it was calicoan in samar..my question is, has anyone surfed it and from manila,whats a good way to get there?i imagine it would be good in typhoon season..looking forward to any kine info..ok,thanx,dante

went there last june... from manila, i took a flight for tacloban. then when in tacloban, took rode a van heading for Guian. then from Guian town proper, took a jeep for Sulangan and got off right at the resort. About 3-5 hours of travel time -- not the easiest with all the transfers. but at least you'd get to see the San Juanico bridge along the way :)
