surfing Baler

« on: January 01 2014 17:01:00 »

is anyone here from baler, or at least, very familiar with that area?
i'm planning on taking a side trip to baler in the middle of january, so i've been reading about this place. seems to be the spot is Cemento reef aka cobra reef.
i'm actually a bodyboarder, so naturally a spot like cemento would be perfect; hollow and rampy.
i've been reading another spot called lindy's point. from the description i've read, it sounds like it's a man-made wave, courtesy of the engineers that revamp the river mouth. sounds to me like the Wedge in cali. problem is, there are no video or photo of that spot..
so for anyone familiar with that place: is lindy's point a shorebreak??? i would love to hear some feedbacks about this place.
