want 2 suprise my boy with a surfing hol- recommendations?« on: March 22 2006 23:03:00 »
Hi, i'm looking to take my b'friend on a suprise surfing hoilday to the phillapenes for his 30th b'day. he is probably what u would call an intermediate surfer. i am definately what u would call a beginner. we can only practice on the weekends because we don't actually live at the beach and it's a 2 hr drive. i guess by the end of the year (when we r looking at going in Dec) we would have hopefully improved. the phillaphenese look pretty cool and not too expensive. where would you recommend staying that r actually on teh beach ie don't have to drive to the beach? r there any cool places to stay that u would recommend that r mid price ie not too spency but not too cheap?

Hi Jen! I say go to Siargao (you can search it on the web) It has one of the bet surf in the Philippines. I might go sometime that month as well so let me know so I can help you out. Locals and foreigners are nice and they rent you boards as well. and yes its not too expensive. Where are you from? Im going to Zambales to check out the surf tomorrow.
