sunset resort, la union Philippines Surfing Philippines

i would like to share to all our horrible experience staying at the Sunset Resort in La Union, Philippines. We were descriminated to the max.
The owner (german National ) just treat us so badly that we have to move in the evening and look for another resort. There are plenty of very friendly resort around, choose any but beware of going to the Sunset Resort owned by a german national.
Surfing is excellent.

Stayed there too many times actually...I don't remember any incident of discrimination.

Really nice place they have there.

Visited this place a couple of times.... never had any rude experience by this German National. I think, he's friendly. well atleast to me.

Well i have know JAn and have stayed there too. He was a gentleman and i am not German, i am Australian. Superb food cold cheap beer , privacy and at a bargain price, wonderful family wonderful little resort!

maybe you just provoked him or somthin? coz ive been goin in la union alone, its such a great place lots of friendly locals to be with. hey grace maybe next time we could surf together try surfresort in sanjuan la union definitely a great place! sorry for what happened i hope i won't experience that kind of thang

Hi Marco, I'm heading to La Union around the 10th of Jan. It's my first time visiting the area so can you please give me advice on where to stay and where to rent a shortboard? I'm on a tight budget, so the cheaper the better. Also, I love lefts since I'm goofy. Any advice on where to stay, surf, etc Would be much appreciated.

ill suggest stay at waveriders resort..since your tight on budget!, shortboards are available at surfcamp resort! the owner and the locals are really friendly! the beachbreak is good....i just got home from launion, its great coz theres a swell it averages in my estimate bout 7 overhead!

I dont want the hassel and cost of bringing a board can I rent somthing decent,I have lived and surfed the noth shore of Ohau for 27 years .If I bring a boad I will want to sell it there
no need the Hassel of bringing it back.I will bring a 6'4" HIC
