If you want to surf, then take a visit to Siargao island, in Surigao del norte. It is the best surfing place and if you are a beginners, then you can take lessons in that place. Good accommodation, good foods, and nice weather. Good luck. We might visit Cebu also in August and my daughter will also learn surfing...it might be in Siargao. Good luck.

try argao,south of cebu city.sometimes theres a wave.wind swell.or if you want to travel,visit borongan, eastern samar.just 1 day travel from cebu
