surfing philippines in march?« on: September 05 2006 07:09:00 »
Me and my girlfriend are going to spend a couple of weeks in the philippines in march-07... we are both beginners (i surfed for a couple of weeks in Bali last year, and my gf has never surfed at all...)
I think we will live around the city Baguio (sorry if I misspelled that!) north of Manila (some friends will be there at the time)... so can you give us some pointers on where we should go?
we dont have our own boards or anything... so we are gonna have to rent boards, and since we are both crap att surfing we need some friendly beginnerwaves. (and perhaps a teacher)
any ideas not too far from Baguio?
also... how much does it cost to rent boards etc?
and finally... how is March for beginners? is it too flat, or too big? or just perfect?? :)
thanks in advance!!

most likley your best bet is LA UNION pretty close to were you will be staying, surf in mar will be hit and miss, board rentals and some instruction should not be a problem, cost i dont know but i should not be to much, good luck have fun :)
