traveling alone

I'm traveling alone to Cebu and was going to hit-up siargao, leyte, and try to get to baler off Luzon. I have a month so i figue that i can do that but want to know if the danger factor is a little to great and maybe i should get some other plans. I've heard some serious warnings so maybe i should pair up with someone or pack some heat? Thanks to any reply Ryan

pack some heat! that's a good one!.... ey! there's a guy here by the name of MIKE ANCHETA he's from hawaii he has a house in la union ... depending on when you're going he can tour you around for a much reasonable price than others..
