filipino surfing, a great future, giving props!« on: March 13 2007 17:03:00 »
I have been living in the Philippines for almost 10 years now.
I just want to say to the Filipino locals, thanks!
You guys are what surfing is all about to me. You keep me living here by setting a super vibe in and out of the water. The hospitality in second to none! There are few places left that have this vibe and adventure.
I believe the surf future for this country is bright and endless. I look foward to seeing the local surfers propsper and begin getting the props you deserve. Keep the stoke, and all the better will come your way! Whether it be for the soul or the mainstream, I believe in you! With over 7,000 islands which you belong to, let there always be stoke!
I hope the visitors to your great land always give you the respect you deserve, don't let a few outside punks with big mouths give you a bad taste for all visitors.
