Can anyone suggest where is nicest, and likely to get nice surf end May begin June? Also are some parts more expensive for the budget traveller than in others? What is the safety like for 2 people travelling alone (couple).

By End of May, the season will be up on the western side of the country like San Juan, La Union or Zambales....

Not sure Phillipines or Sri Lanka. have read that surf is not consistent in Phillipines May/JUne. Do you think their will be alot of surfing in siargao and/or Baler.
