i am lead to belive there is a surf camp there,your best bet is just travel dopwn there and ask the locals in samar

Dont go to samar, full of NPA!! A friend of mine got shot while surfing, he was mistaken as American GI. You see man, mountain people hates white arrogant boy. Paddle at your own risk.... :)

It dissapoints me that you post this,Catanduanes also have npa but over the last 20 yaars a tourist has never been targeted at all.It goes against all there rules.Search and u will be rewarded

if you want to go to samar, just look for cayote and badtrip...
they are cool guides.....
no npa.. come on... your just affraid...
respect the locals in samar or alse the will kick ur ass...

Its all about RESPECT. Remember... locals only brah! Give respect and you'll get it back in return. Its a safe place. If you dont know any locals you'll be alright in the surf camp in calicoan. Cayote's usually in the other spot which is 2hours away.

In some parts of samar, there are NPAs but that's not even half of the people who's willing to protect you guys... I should say, 'cause I've been there. One more thing, NPA's camps are not located near the resort.
