uncrowded waves« on: August 24 2009 02:08:00 »
Are there any uncrowded waves close to manila? My family will be there for two weeks in september and i will have a few days off here and there. Unfortunatly i cant travel to far, so if anyone could tell me where i will be able to get some good quality waves with no crowds, it would be much appreciated.

Hey Dom, moto is right there are some good waves at Polillio island. You need a boat and you need to know where to find them. I was lucky to find a few good spots. My friend and I have a speed boat and go there often. Just email me and I can organise a trip for you.

How many people can your boat carry and how much will it cost?
I doubt it's cheaper than hiring a local banka but then again you're a foreigner who needs to pay his taxes right?

Correct with all the above. It carries five. It goes 55 kph. 1 and a half hours to the waves. 5-6 by bunker. No crowds and pits that you can drive an fx through. Its booked out this week (Wednesday and Thursday) with all Pinoy crew (except me). Maybe next time bro. Check magic seaweed. We are going to score big time. The are some pics on my page in the community section of this site.Enjoy J.

$US150 per day per person. Includes lunch and equipment if needed. Just email like other people are if your interested.

Sounds like the banka is a better offer. $150 US is ridiculous. It's only 150-200 pesos per person for a day for a banka.
At least i know now.
