Introduce them to Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker. Those two combined will knock them to their knees as if they were praying to San Miguel. If that's too much, they can always try the Red Horse.

I too have the same predicament - with a slight twist - my girlfriend wants to do a PADI dive course. Is there a place in La Union (or anywhere in the Ilocos region, or even anywhere in northern Luzon) where you can combine surfing with diving? Just has to be a place where there is a dive school and a place to hire/buy surfboards in relatively close proximity, and a selection of budget accommodation options.

Have surfed here a few times but is quite fickeled but always some small much to wabble in. As forthe girls keep a close eye unless they speak the lingo . The Ausey guys are relentless and will keep them busy if you do not As for mine she is Pinoy and speaks 5 lingos including her PI so may see yea in the splash on or about jan 1 or 2 If the girls do the local Markets and street shopping and are into walking the beach they will do fine. 2 hRS IN THE WATER WILL DO YOU ESPECIALLY IF THE RISING SUN MASSES FOR THERE USUAL SESSIONS ,,,EVERYBODY GO BONZAI
